SHENENDEHOWA SENIORS INVESTMENT CLUB (SSIC)
The SSIC is affiliated with the National Association of Investment Clubs. The club reviews, buys, and sells stocks in the club’s name. Each member contributes $25 each month and owns a part of the club’s total stock holdings in proportion to what he/she has contributed over time. A one-time $100 non-refundable membership fee is required to join. Members will get the NAIC instructional book and the monthly magazine, Better Investing. No previous knowledge of the stock market or stocks is required to join; however, members are expected to increase their knowledge over time to contribute positively to the club’s financial health. Members agree to regularly attend meetings and alternate in researching and reporting on appropriate companies for possible purchase or sale. The SSIC workshop is held on the 1st Wednesday, 9:30-11:30 a.m. of every month. SSIC Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Open to new members!
